SimpleNail

I needed to provide access to a large collection of hi-res images for a non computer literate client. So I thought to quickly download some simple client to generate thumbnails and a web-page. Well they may be out there but what I found was way too complicated so I wrote my own.

When you run Simplenail it will let you add files to a list. On the second Tab you can define a bunch of parameters and then you click generate. A web page and a thumbnail folder is created in the same folder as the first picture in the list and that's it. A link at the bottom will provide immediate access to the generated web-page. You need to copy the whole lot to your own web-site if you want to publish it.

If all this seems too hard then please don't download it because I won't fix bugs for you unless you pay me $80 per hour.

Here is an example of how a web page would look like

Pastry

Sick and tired of having to save screenshots to a file in order to share it with people? I was, Yeah I know you can paste an image in the clipboard in MSN but half the time that won't work. Besides, I like to keep a record.

Enter Pastry. This little program was whipped up in a few hours using good old Borland Delphi and it turns out to be really useful. Especially if you have a web-server in your local network (Which self respecting IT dude doesn't these days). Have a read on this page what Pastry is all about (And a download link of course)
